UX/UI Designer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sr. UX/UI Designer for our client in Raleigh, NC. This is a hybrid role requiring candidates to be within commuting distance of the Raleigh headquarters

Key Responsibilities

Design & Execution

  • Design user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes

  • Create experiences for web, mobile web, tablet/mobile apps, and POS platforms

  • Translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive design solutions

  • Produce detailed design specifications and interaction documentation

  • Iterate designs based on usability feedback and technical considerations

Research & User Insights

  • Conduct lightweight UX research including usability testing and concept validation

  • Collaborate with product managers and analytics/research teams to leverage user insights

  • Synthesize research findings into actionable design recommendations

  • Validate designs through testing and continuous feedback loops

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams

  • Partner with engineers to ensure scalable and accurate implementation

  • Collaborate with marketing and brand teams for consistent experiences

  • Present design concepts, prototypes, and findings clearly to stakeholders

Craft & Quality

  • Maintain high standards for visual and interaction design quality

  • Contribute to design systems and accessibility standards

  • Participate in design reviews and critique sessions

  • Stay current with UX/UI trends and best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of UX/UI design experience for digital products

  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects

  • Experience with user-centered design principles and interaction design

  • Experience conducting or supporting UX research activities

  • Ability to apply research findings and analytics to design improvements

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Experience working within Agile teams

  • Proficiency with Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in eCommerce, retail, or customer-facing digital products

  • Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design standards

  • Experience working within established design systems

  • Experience leveraging usability testing and A/B test learnings

  • Ability to interpret behavioral analytics and customer insights

Work Schedule

  • Typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

  • Flexibility to collaborate with offshore/India teams as needed
